What factors will affect the quality of sintered bricks

Quality of sintered bricks

There are many reasons for the bending of bricks, and the main reason should be mechanical problems. Such as the spiral cutter of the extruder (especially the structural form of the spiral cutter head), machine head, machine mouth, billet cutting table, billet conveying belt, etc.

Firstly, it is necessary to verify whether the performance of the raw materials meets the requirements of sintered bricks. If the clay minerals contained in the raw materials are too few or the montmorillonite content is too high, it can also lead to poor product quality and fragility; Secondly, one should carefully check the performance of the extruder they are using. The poor quality of the billet extruded by the extruder can also lead to the product being fragile.

The second reason may be that the molding moisture is too high and the strength of the billet is too low, which may be due to the presence of too many low melting point substances in the billet. During the roasting process, a large amount of liquid phase is formed, which deforms under the pressure of the upper billet and causes it to bend. Because each type of material contained in the body has a specific reasonable body height limit, which is called the reasonable body height. The rough surface of the brick is mainly caused by insufficient processing of raw materials and coarse particles in the body material.

Once again, review whether the process you have chosen is reasonable. For example, inadequate processing of raw materials can also lead to poor product quality.

① The pre tropical zone is too short, the temperature rises too quickly, and the temperature and humidity are too high;

② The billet entering the kiln is not completely dry.

The solution is as follows:

① The preheating zone is too short and needs to be removed from the kiln

Design considerations: appropriately extend the preheating zone. If the original design is not long enough, the fire in the burning zone can be moved back during operation, which can appropriately extend the length of the preheating zone. At the same time, in the design, a moisture exhaust fan should be added to the preheating zone to remove the moisture from the preheating zone.

② Strengthen the drying intensity of the drying kiln: to ensure that the billets pushed out from the drying kiln are completely dry. (Can preserve 5-7% residual water in seedlings). When checking the billet that comes out of the drying kiln, it is necessary to check whether the center of the kiln car is completely dry. Often, the surface around is dry, but the temperature in the middle is still high, which is the main reason for the pre heating inverted billet.

③ Change the encoding method and control the encoding density.
